At VAL EVES, we believe sustainable fashion is about embracing intentionality and committing to environmental and social responsibility in our fashion choices. Sustainability is an ongoing journey, however we believe that through community we can make an impact through purpose and intention.
In 2023, we partnered with Selina Ho, renowned sustainable fashion consultant, and collaborated with expert designers and artisans to craft our inaugral line. By fusing artisanal craftsmanship with modern sustainability practices, VAL EVES is revitalizing the hand fan market, driven by a deep commitment to eco-friendly innovation.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Valerie Evivie is the CEO and founder of VAL EVES, established in 2022. She was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and graduated from UNC Chapel Hill's Gillings School of Global Public Health.
Valerie believes fashion, as "wearable art," is central to our individuality and can reflect our sense of community. This, coupled with her awareness of climate change's impacts inspired VAL EVES
Valerie's passion for public health and deep love for the arts have shaped her unique perspective on wellness, fashion, self-expression, community and environmental responsibility.
